Following on from the Groupon offer post I've had some one contact me who waited 5 months only to receive back DVDs with WMV files on them. Great if you are a techy sort and want to play your memories on a Computer. But not what you need for a DVD player. The discs didn't even come in a nice library case. Needless to say we will now begetting his order so he can have a proper transfer made.

I've heard from a number of people who took up an offer via Groupon for video to DVD with another company at VERY cheap prices. 3 months later and they are still waiting to have their tapes and DVDs back. Cheap certainly isn't always a good thing!

Bear Extender

I'm going to be away from the office on and off over the next few weeks and will be testing out one of these to keep me connected. Tests at the office have been impressive with hotspots being pulled nicely Should help me keep in touch with our cine to DVD transfer customers and our video to DVD transfers customers. Jim

Automated systems

I've had a few people ask me if our systems are automated, in the last few days.

The simple and absolute answer is NO.

When dealing with peoples treasured and valuable family memories, automation is a definte no.

You precious tapes and cines are handled by human beings and when running through the equipment things are always monitored.

Beware of anyone offering crazy low prices and automated systems....
